In this section I'll explain how the Member Content Team effectively uses Strive to control the blog post process. Since we have multiple writers contributing to our six distinct blogs keeping an organized and controlled workflow is important.

Thankfully, Strive offers two amazing tools that make the process easier and ensure seamless organization. Learn how to leverage these features:

New Drafts

On the left side of the Content Calendar page, the " Add New Draft" will be your starting point to start your blog.

When clicked, it opens the pop-up where it is easy to input necessary information needed for a post.

We use the Title field to show the assigned writer by including their name before the post title.

Magic is created when you hit on the Create Draft Draft button located at the bottom of the window.

Strive will automatically generate a new draft in WordPress, populating all the entered information in The WordPress Editor. The integration with Strive and WordPress removes the requirement to move data around in a slow process, ensuring a smooth and effective process.

When you create a new draft, Strive generates a special box in the Unscheduled Drafts column that displays all pending assignments for our writers. This feature enables clear visibility as well as easy access to the ongoing tasks.

Strive's vivid color scheme is not just visually appealing but also serves as an effective tool for our blog post process.

Each color signifies a distinct phase of the process that allows us to efficiently communicate the next steps and accountable individuals. Let's look at how we can use these colors:

  1. Not In Progress (Red): When I start a new Draft, it automatically adopts the status of Not Started with a striking red color. This informs the designated author that it is time to write.
  2. Writing (Orange): Once the writer has begun writing the draft, they change the status of their post to writing, and are accompanied by an eye-catching orange color. The change informs me that the article is in progress.
  3. Editing (Yellow): When the draft is completed and ready for review, the author changes the post's status to Editing. It is shown by a vibrant yellow shade. This informs me that the blog post needs my attention to review and changes.
  4. Complete (Green): After I have completed the editing and decide that the article is now ready for publication, I switch the status to Complete. The box for the post immediately transforms into a calming green.

Green is a crucial element for us as Strive offers an optional setting that will automatically publish any Complete (green) post according to its scheduled date and time within WordPress Editor. WordPress Editor. This can significantly cut down time. But, it requires constant monitoring of times and dates every time you "go to green."

After a publication is successful and is published, the page turns black, indicating that the process is completed.

Utilizing this system of color coded content, we maintain an organized process, which ensures an efficient communication process and smooth progression throughout the content creation process. We'll explore additional features and benefits which Strive offers to our clients.

The Zap automates assigning the relevant task to me, ensuring I am notified of the presence of the draft. From there, I simply go to Asana and then effortlessly move the draft into the correct topic section.
