Tiyana Robinson is Washington DC-based professional Makeup Artist and the Founder of Makeup Mogul University the first online business school specifically designed for Makeup Artists.
After receiving an inquiry from an acquaintance of the family who wanted to make makeup for a party, Tiyana decided to pursue her first passion: makeup art. Since then, her work has brought Washington D.C. (and the world) in a blaze! Her makeup was seen in the runways of New York Fashion Week where she was the primary makeup artist at the first runway show NYFW with models who were shade. She's been featured on television shows like VH1 as well as Good Morning Washington and has worked with a variety of stunning brown brides throughout the DC region as also from other countries.
In her spare time, in the time she's not drawing beautiful faces, Tiyana does her best to assist Makeup Artists in becoming Makeup MOGULS via her online classes and membership website.
We had a conversation with Tiyana to talk about her entrepreneurial journey, and the way she's managed to convert her business that was founded on service into an online university.
