Meeting Fast Fast: Inside's end of year interactive video

 Capturing quality content

For the first time, we reached out to members of our talented community worldwide including creative directors from the Netherlands, filmmakers in the UK animators from Australia as well as NGO activists in Nigeria just to mention just a handful.

We then asked them to hop on their phones, cameras, and computers to answer three questions regarding the next year's events:

  •   What's your goal for the upcoming year?
  •   What's inspiring you in the New Year?
  •   What are the biggest hurdles you anticipate for 2023?

Their answers spoke to the power of community like this gem from creator director, of the film and Soursop co-founder Ravi Amaratunga Hitchcock...

 Streamlining the post process

After editing all of videos submitted We knew that we wanted each part of the video to stand on its own. So, we created a series of supercuts, featuring our favorite responses to the above three questions.

And, to prepare for the possibility of interactivity, the's team came up with a set of ground principles to change the footage from sizzles and raw footage into an immersive experience.

  •   Add an interactive element within the first 10 seconds  
  •   Let 15 minutes to :20 in between hotspots  

Imagining an interactive user experience
