In January of 2020, Nia Pettitt officially opened the doors to Curl Bar. Curl Bar, the salon that caters to curly hair, is located in London. The concept of the salon was created by Nia was not just about creating a beautiful atmosphere for people, however it was also about creating an atmosphere which allowed each client to feel welcomed and appreciated.

A salon with curly locks was one of the goals of Nia's. "I often traveled to America to get my hair be done, as it was hard to locate an establishment within London as well as within in the UK," she says. "I had a goal of creating an experience that was relaxed and comfortable and also was a reflection of my ideals for what I would like to be when I grow up." The patrons were enthusiastic about the concept. From the moment that the book's doors opened at The Curl Bar The appointments were swiftly booked.
"Your life is going to be changed when you choose to start an enterprise. Be prepared for the changes." Nia offers advice to those who wish to create their own companies. No one could have predicted the extent of changes that will be coming to Nia along with Curl Bar. Curl Bar. After two months of the salon's debut, the bar was closed for an extended period of time because of COVID-19 shutdowns within the UK. However, even a short interruption in operation didn't slow Nia down.
"I didn't have a plan to grow the business or in the event of an epidemic," she says. "I just view each moment as an opportunity to learn from from." When The Curl Bar was closed, Nia shifted her focus towards social media. She was engaging with stylists as well as her followers on the internet until The Curl Bar was able to reopen.
