In the beginning of January in 2020, Nia Pettitt inaugurated The Curl Bar, an establishment for curly hair, located in London. The salon's concept of Nia's did not only revolve around making clients feel attractive and attractive, but also providing a space that allowed each customer to feel welcomed and loved.

The journey of brick and mortar businesses to the next stage

Establishing a hair salon with curly locks was a longtime goal of Nia's. "I frequently traveled from America for my hair's treatment because it was always difficult to locate salons in London, let alone within the UK," she says. "I set out to design something that was safe and comfortable, and reflected visually the things I had in my mind as a child." The customers responded positively to her idea. The moment they opened their doors at The Curl Bar the bar, reservations quickly were filled to capacity.

"Your life will be altered once you make the decision to launch an enterprise. Check if you're well-prepared for the transition." Nia advises aspiring business entrepreneurs. It was difficult to know the kind of changes about to be coming for Nia as well as The Curl Bar. Just just a couple of months after debut, the restaurant was forced to close temporarily due to COVID-19 shutdowns within the UK. However, even a temporary halt of operations did not slow Nia down.

"I didn't have a formula for growing the business, or even in the case of an outbreak," she states. "I simply view every moment as an opportunity to learn from and learned from." When The Curl Bar was closed, Nia shifted her focus onlineand connected to stylists as well as her fans online until The salon could fully be reopened.
