Skateboarder and community organizer Briana King has a passion to their sport and the community first. Building a career out of those passions came natural for Briana due to the fact that she explains to "I've done everything out of the love of it--not just because it was necessary to get an occupation of any kind."

Find out the ways Briana makes use of its website and social media channels to remain connected to their skateboarding community offline and online.

The creation of community by means of products

For Briana, their website showcases every aspect of their company all in one location: skate meetups, products for sale, and hyperlinks to their active group of fans on social media.

"It allows me to showcase my work and future meetings," Briana describes their site, "but it also motivates me to look into innovative ideas."

One of these ideas was to launch their own online store which will offer skate-related products. Briana considers the products an additional way to connect with their customers--by offering their community "something that makes them smile or smile."

Briana has even employed a skateboarder friend to manage the e-commerce business. "I think we should help the community in any way we can. Every action I take goes back into my community."
