When Jeremy Cohen was just 15 year old, an unexpected family vacation at Yellowstone National Park unexpectedly sparked his passion for photography.

"My dad bought me a digital point-and-shoot camera," Jeremy shared with . "My sister was taking photos on it, and I thought they looked cool, so I wanted to try it out. I snapped a lot of pictures of nature which led me to enroll in a film photography class at my high school as an elective after I arrived back to my home town."

The initial desire to document the world around him established the basis for his career as a professional photographer. Starting with to his Quarantine roof culture series, to his daily Today I Photographed project, Jeremy went on to use his camera to "uplift and amplify untold portrayals of humanity." The world took notice: Jeremy has built an audience of over a million on social media, and is even able to grow a lucrative freelance photography career.

The ability to work from home with an online site

That strategy paid off: "I started to get employed for a few small jobs but then eventually, I was able to eventually go full time as a photographer on a contract basis."

"I have multiple uses for my website on ," Jeremy says. "It's my primary portfolio that allows visitors to look through the absolute most impressive of my work, whether it's my personal work, clients work, or miscellaneous images."

The creation of a website is also a way to establish freelancers' credibility. "In my opinion," Jeremy says, "a strong website is essential to a photographer for customers to believe in them."
