Kingpin Interview with Daniel David

Q1: What's your background and how did you start with WordPress?

The business's history began the very first semester, when I got to know Roland who is also known to be the co-founder and chief executive officer of Nextendweb. Roland is an expert in programming and is truly a full-stack developer unicorn. It was clear that we wanted to create something special with his help.

My first time using WordPress was back in year 2009 when I designed simple websites for local business in the summer vacation. After a couple of years we created the company Nextendweb and then began to create Joomla extensions. We also developed new WordPress plugins too. In the present, Nextendweb is seven years old and undoubtedly WordPress is our primary platform today. In the past, I could not imagine the joy, success as well as the feeling of happiness and anxiety and my own uncertainty on this path.

3. What challenges encountered you while you were pursuing the position you have now professionally?

The company was established in a tiny apartment that was shared with Roland. During the morning we handled queries regarding customer service, as well as in the afternoon we worked to introduce more features and correct the issues. It was an extremely hectic and hectic time in that time. It was a very challenging however enjoyable time within my own life. 7 years on, we're faced with new issues including marketing, project management, or finding the most effective members of the team. Sci-fi and fantasy books are some of my favorite choices when I have a small amount of time to sit down and read or stream everything from my library. But mostly I am playing video games when I'm trying not to be during weekdays. In the weekends I am enjoying every moment with my wife , and try to get together with our friends, family and enjoy some outdoor activities.

Question 8: Who do we would like to talk to next? And why?

I believe that you should speak with Nick Roach, the founder of Elegant Themes. There is a big buzz about Divi since a long time, and people will want to know what Nick's thoughts are. In my opinion, their communication and design is one of the top within the realm of WordPress.
