How Amy Michael Harrison and Michael Harrison have added online classes for business off-line

Amy's thoughts:
A few months ago, we stood before the group of 30 people at the end of The Soul Adventure, our meditation group, when someone asked us "Can you record the meditations we practiced for us, so that we can continue to practice these?" Everyone else agreed.
Michael and I had already been discussing it, as we know that many of our clients have shift work, or who have kids or other obligations that stop their ability to be at classes simultaneously each week . We wanted them to do our course but weren't able to do the time. It was even necessary to arrange babysitting services for our kids for the purpose of teaching the class. Therefore, I suggested to them "Yeah Yes, we'll grant you three months, and then we'll get these meditations recorded , and then on the internet for the benefit of".
What's the worst you make it? This is an amazing course that many people enjoy and want to learn more about. A few of those that were present around the table attended three times in succession. I believe that we needed to figure out a method to record these meditations which could be as simple as uploading these recordings "online" and there would be this amazing "online" space where sessions and meditations would be accessible to our customers could listen to them from.
Oh my.
It's true. Our team is extremely proficient in what we do. having been operating for since the beginning of time and assisted thousands of patients through our clinic. Our experience isn't in technology-related issues. After returning home, we started looking "how can I create an online course". I didn't know if what I was reading had been written in English. All I heard was about plug-ins and coding and WordPress which made my stomach turn into the tidal waves of "I do not know how I'm capable of doing this".
However, we resigned ourselves to the idea that the process might take less than three months but we'd get there. We did research, read books and took courses on creating electronic courses. Then we realized that we needed assistance and started talking to web developers to create an online website that would allow members to join us.
Then we realized that we'd gained ground!
We have not received the price returned. $12,000. It's unfortunate that we don't have this. We have four children and two are supporting to go to uni in different cities. We have a mortgage on the house which was completed in half and many other costs trying to manage the money we have.
My heart sunk into that despairing state and I was in the same place. It was as if we were on either side of the valley with an incredible vision of our path, and a full sight of the other side, there was no possibility to make the bridge that would allow us to reach.
It was within the basket's heavy weight for a couple of months until one day, I decided to search once further and, for the first-time ever I came across . It was as if I'd discovered the rainbow, which ran across that chasm to reach the gold-plated personal pot that is our online class to the opposite end. This was the magical "online" place I was envisioning for my course that I planned to create in the year before as we stood in front of the class.
We were able to see how to do doing the entire thing ourselves with no massive start up cost, no need to rely on anyone else to do all of this for us. It was not a thing that required the use of programming or connecting to! At this point, we had learned all of the functionality we'd need to be able to operate, market, and successfully market our courses.
We needed to be able to distribute content in drips using a variety of methods to distribute content, options for downloading content, the possibility of connecting to an email scheduling tool and the capability to offer different packages and courses, customizing our brand identity and manage affiliates. All the features we needed were available. Every. Single. One. I actually wept with relief.
We then set about creating and recording our program.
The recording wasn't complete for the entire module but it wasn't necessary to. If you're planning to distribute information via drip feeds then you must get ahead of first enrollees. We'd already taken note of the first two weeks, which was twelve weeks.
There was a website I had been working on. It would be the sales page for our company. It would include all information regarding our course and ways to register (you can do this independently of the course however we decided to create separate websites). Our branding colors and logo using the assistance by one of our customers.
Already had clients - we've obtained all of our clients as well as former participants of our workshop live. We've got all their emails saved in our database which at that time had 696 email addresses. They are the ones who know us personally and appreciate the work we do and want more from us.
It was amazing to realize that we actually ready to go live. After a long time it was a breeze when we discovered . We clicked on the publish button on our course, connected our sales page , and then emailed our database informing them that The Soul Adventure in it's digital edition was now available to purchase.
We had 78 enrolments during the initial week. Through this process we've repaid every bit of the money that we'd invested into tools, classes, and subscriptions to that point and more. It was the reason for us to finish recording the remaining modules too. Additionally, we were able to take the feedback received and make sure that future modules exactly reflected what users wanted.
We've now got a no-cost introductory course to guided meditation, which will help introduce people to us and our mission and work that we carry out, we're working on other free offerings and also some paid courses which are a derivative of our previous live classes.
It's awesome to see people that have been friends for quite a while, but would never cross paths when working one-on-one with them at clinics, and being able to communicate with one another via our online communities. It is also possible to reach all across the globe via our activities, not just the small part of the world where we live in northern the northern part of the tropical north region of Australia.
