Contrary to other educational platforms, where how much you're going to earn is less straightforward and we'd like you to be successful and ensure that you are aware of the entire process before getting into business with us.
Being an artist or a creator isn't easy. That's why we created an income-based model that pays as you earn. Only for the time you are successful. So no setting-up fees, no monthly charges, no hidden fees. In this piece we will break down the cost of a class in depth No more secrets about how much you earn on giving video-based classes.
CreativeMindClass Pricing Fundaments:
- Start with no cost and pay-as-you earn cost.
- No setting-up fees, no monthly charges, no hidden fees.
- We charge only when you achieve.
- CreativeMindClass charges 8% revenue share on classes, which is 12% on classes with community feature, or 16% revenue share on classes that include a community component with the CreativeMindClass increase sales kit. ( Note: Revenue share does not include processing fees that are charged by Stripe and the student invoicing fee.)
How much will you make from your USD/EUR 100 online course?
Let's say that John is an artist and watercolor painter in the United States and wants to develop a basic class on the subject. He's chosen CreativeMindClass for the freedom it gives him to create his own space for teaching.
The course is going to be small so he's opted for the Basic pricing option. After some hands-on work on the course, and with help by the CreativeMindClass team John's lessons on video are complete and ready to upload them and the decision was made to begin selling the course at $100 (incl. VAT).
Soon... Hooray! One of John's Instagram followers, Nina, signs up for the course! Nina is based in Germany which means that later Johnhas to have to pay German VAT.
CreativeMindClasses's automated pricing system does the math for everyone.
The final price breakdown will look like this:
- The VAT rate for Germany 19% for Germany 19%
- Processing fee for Stripe payments -> 4.4%
- Fee for student invoicing on digital services = 6.6%
- CreativeMindClass Basic Packge fee is 8%
- John earns 63 percent of every course sold. It's easy and hassle-free.
In the end: John earns $63 on each of his $100 class sold on CreativeMindClass.
