We asked Soosh about the key to capturing the little daily moments through her art
"Hello, I'm Soosh. I was born and raised by people. I identify myself with no religious, ethnic, or national background, or anything else. My life is spent looking at people, myself and others, diving deep into the details of everything. This is a difficult path. that's why I've not chosen it in advance and yet I'm on it. If it's traditional art education, I have none whatsoever.

Although I am aware that there are various styles of painting and drawing can be described as styles, I have never given much thought as to what kind that my drawing could be able to qualify as. If I tried to come up with a word to describe it, it would be something like a "fairytale realism" style. But speaking frankly, no style.
I think the key for me, as I see it, is to see using your heart as with your eyes. It might take some repetition to be able to see the little aspects, as with every other ability. The trick is to remain silent for a few minutes and be remain present for the present moment. Pay attention. Be attentive, and not hurry.
My focus has always been individuals. Their expressions on their faces, their mimics of their actions, their gestures acts of kindness, and their flaws - all of it is so fascinating and intriguing to me. Then it's only the matter of a couple of pencils and a few watercolours to get into and bring life to the everyday images in a paper."
