An illustrator for books, Soosh, talks about her fairytale art.
As I was researching Soosh to begin this article correctly, I discovered her video clips. If you've ever seen her work, you'll notice that it seems as if the fairytale of dreams was revived. With her voice as a part of stories, she can make an all-encompassing experience by bringing the fairytale characters of her work to life. Continue reading, but ensure you stop by on her YouTube channel with a cup of hot tea and prepare yourself to enjoy a fairytale-themed evening.
We spoke to Soosh what she believes is the most important thing to capturing the little details of life every day through her art
"Hello, I'm Soosh. I was raised and born in the company of people. I am not a part of any nation, race, religion, or anything else. I spend my time observing people and myself as I delve into the particulars of each. It's not an easy path. I haven't chosen it deliberately, but I am in it. If it's conventional art education, I have none whatsoever.

Though I'm aware there are various styles of drawing and painting that can be described as styles, I never gave much thought as to what sort of style my drawings could qualify as. If I were to find the words for it, it would be something like a "fairytale realistic" kind of style. But speaking frankly, no style.
My opinion is that the most important thing, as I understand it is to observe through your heart as you do with your eyes. You may need some time to be able to see the little details, just like every other skill. It is important to be still for a while and very much present in the present moment. Pay attention. Be attentive, and not hurry.
My primary interest has been always the people. Their expressions on their faces, their mimics and gestures, their kind acts, as well as the flaws they exhibit - all it is so fascinating and interesting to me. Then it's only the matter of two pencils and a few watercolours to get into and bring life to the everyday images printed on paper."
