7+ years into her business of coaching, Becky Mollenkamp is honing into what she likes doing the most

Recently, we had the pleasure of speaking with Becky to learn about the ways in which her business grown over the last couple of years, as well as to reflect on her path as a creative. While Becky was an entrepreneur for more than twenty years, coaching was not an integral element of her strategy.

"What inspired me to begin the path of coaching was when my brother was killed in 2010, following an overdose, which was fatal for heroin. This really awakened me from my slumber," Becky explains.

"I was living a life filled with'shoulds' and repeating the exact same thing over and over performing everything that you're expected to perform. This made me realize that life is far too short to lead living a life that's not exactly how you want to live."

"I didn't know what I was looking for. It was clear this was not the truth," Becky remembers. The writer shut off his work and went back to her home with her parents. Then came the internal investigation of what she wouldwant for her life in the future would turn out as.

Becky was able to start building her writing business. "It was something I was familiar with that I believed I could become effective in. Then I realized what I most wanted to accomplish was to assist others break free from the'shoulds'."

Then she began coaching.

"I discovered that I can assist others experiencing the same things that I've gone through. And that's really the reason I realized that this is the job I'm supposed to be doing. It's my passion to work in the field of "science and technology."

The work she did as the owner of an agency, along with an increase in her determination to help others led to her unique perspective being a perfect match to guide people's mindset.

"I'm not planning strategies for strategic implementation neither am I consultant. Actually, I'm an instructor. So, I help customers make their own choices and their personal knowledge of what they'd like to achieve from their lives or business. After that, I assist clients in making that choice," Becky explains.

In order to help clients live the values they hold dearly She brings the values she holds into her coaching. "I'm female-focused coach this signifies that I'm a woman who is devoted to my own experiences and am aware of my own trauma, and my coaching is about compassion, no blame or shame."

Motivated by her experiences and education, Becky began building her online coaching company -- but it was accompanied by a lot of "shoulds," too.

Based on her own experience, Becky wants her clients to feel "the internal transformation by making your company behave like an organization and you as an executive."

"I worked on behalf of individuals and still do however, I'm now working with women, mostly working in mid-sized firms" she describes. "It's all about making sure that their workplace is safe for employees and engaging with their employees or advisors in providing assistance so that they are able to achieve more harmony in the workplace."

This change could have the possibility of a negative effect for Becky's financial health, too.
